Children poo its a fact of life

AND children love swimming on hot days.

Those swim nappies given to children to prevent poo from entering the water often are not barrier enough to prevent a spillage.

Even if you try your best, accidents happen, as it seems to be the case at the Regional Aquatic Centre recently.

While it might not have been an accident from small children but possibly adults that caused the closure of the 25 metre and 50m pools, the vitriol caused was unnecessary.

The complaints about getting money back and not being able to swim was ridiculous.

The pools needed to be shut to be cleaned and management did a great job handling it.

No one wants to swim in muddy waters.

I’m glad public health and safety were put first and now the water is sparkling for all to enjoy.
