WEST are confident going into the 24/25 season with new coach Adam Perry at the helm.A Grade looks to be a tough competition this season and we will rely on new and old heads to push for early points.
The men’s teams have recruited well with returning players Matt Handberg, Lachie Harvey, Daniel Milne and new recruits Luke Jardines and brothers Junaid and Jawad Azam giving West plenty of depth.
A grade will be led by Macka Attard and Lawrence Hebbard, who are looking to blood younger players this season in L. Kay, C. Stenhouse, J. Meehan, Tom Burke and Jack burke, and C. Ferguson
Aussie Ferguson and Ben Mcinerney will lead B Grade on the field, with Matt Adams, Liam Squire, Liam Pascoe, Josh Holes and Jack Burke returning.
The women are looking to rebuild this season with Lee Wilson retiring, and Mike McKeen taking on the coaching role.
New recruits Kendra Bugmy and Phoebe Knell coming in to add depth to the side.
Returning players Honson, Cuy, Knott and Fobister will mentor junior players Attard, Summers, Christos and Borchard coming into the side.
