Outback Disability Expo a success

THE Outback Disability Expo was a roaring success with many stallholders and lots of community members taking advantage of the day.

The Expo was a perfect escape from the windy, wet weather last Saturday.

More than 30 stallholders were at the Civic Centre to network, speak with the community and help those who may be in need of their services.

Organisations in attendance included Live Better, Heal at Home, National Disability Insurance Agency, Green Heart Care, Empowered Champions, At Direct Care, Disability Advocacy NSW, NSW Fair Trading, Social Futures, ESG Inclusive Homes, Thrive Medical, Multicultural Disability Advocacy Association, Life Without Barriers, Silverlea Employment and Training Service, Kinkera Community, Mobility Engineering, GP Super Clinic, Mildura Disability Support, Lift Health Group, Westhaven, Carer Gateway, Therapy In The Outback, Lifeline Connect Broken Hill, Mission Australia and BBKM Plan Management.

The keynote speaker was Cody Jones who spoke in the upstairs conference room at the Civic Centre.

There were also sensory and time out areas for all to enjoy.
