THE Far West has once again lost power this morning, with a New South Wales’ Government spokesperson said Transgrid had advised a technical fault caused the outage and the transmission line has now been restored.
About12,700 residents from Broken Hill, Menindee, Wilcannia, Tibooburra, Packsaddle and into southern Far West Queensland have been without power since shortly after 9am ACDT.
Power is now in the process of being restored throughout the Far West.
A spokesperson from Minister for Energy Penny Sharpe’s said it’s understood the outage has nothing to do with last month’s storm or any industrial action.
