Last call for vendors at biggest spiritual fair yet

THE Silver City’s biggest Outback Spiritual Festival yet is returning to the Racecourse this September, with organiser Jill Blackburn saying the event has doubled in size since the second event was held last year.

“There are just over 100 exhibitors,” she said.

“To compare, Melbourne and Sydney events have 180, and last year we had 50, so we’re in the middle and we’re growing!”

The three-day event, running from September 19 to 21, will include entertainment like live music, live paintings, fire twirlers, a silent disco, audience readings from psychic mediums, and more.

Ms Blackburn said the event is for everyone, whether attendees have experience in spirituality or not.

“There’s all kind of spirituality,” she said.

“For example we’ve got a fairly big focus on men’s mental health. There’s also lots for families and kids as well.”

Three tepee tents will host workshops covering a range of topics such as drawing your own spiritual guide, making clay pendants and even healthy ideas for pets.

Ms Blackburn said people are flying in from New Zealand, the Gold Coast and Melbourne to exhibit at the festival.

Foundation Broken Hill have also come onboard as sponsors this year, which Ms Blackburn said she’s very grateful for.

“It makes a huge difference and we’re very thankful,” she said.

There are a handful of remaining spots lets for local businesses in the Radford Pavillion.
