A FORMER teacher accused of alleged aggressively sexually touching another person has had his committal hearing adjourned.
Thomas McKeown is accused 34 counts committed against children with the assaults allegedly taking place between February and September this year at a local Catholic School.
Mr McKeown was meant to appear in court in Broken Hill on Tuesday, November 26, but his lawyer said he was in hospital with spinal injuries.
Defence council then sought the adjournment which was granted by the magistrate.The committal is now set to take place at Broken Hill Local Court on Tuesday, January 21 where it could be determined if Mr McKeown case will go to trial.
Mr McKeown remains on bail as set on Wednesday, September 11, in Sydney.
