Folk musician to play the Old Brewery

AUSTRALIAN folk, rock and blues musician Kim Churchill will take to the stage at The Old Brewery on Buck Street on Thursday evening as part of a tour in celebration of his forthcoming album It’s Lovely To Have You Here.

Churchill, who grew up in the coastal New South Wales town of Merimbula, has been gigging for over a decade and the current tour will be his biggest national tour to date.

He’ll be playing over 50 shows across capital cities and some of his favourite small towns, from Melbourne to Byron Bay Blues and Roots Festival, to Tasmania and North Queensland.

Churchill will perform at the Old Brewery at 6pm on Thursday 13 February, with all ages welcome and tickets selling for $20 + booking fee.

He’ll be supported by Adelaide based multi-instrumentalist Trav Collins and Goulburn Valley based singer songwriter Jessica Lorraine.

Owner of The Old Brewery, Brendon Barlow, said he’s hopeful the community will come down to support live music in town.

“We are thrilled to be a part of Kim Churchill’s tour,” Barlow said.

“We’re looking forward to a great night of entertainment. Opportunities like this are fantastic for local venues and patrons!”

Tickets can be purchased at musicglue.com.
