A 52-year-old man has been extradited from South Australia to Broken Hill for outstanding warrants relating to alleged domestic violence offences.
The extradition request for Gavin Douglas Waite was approved on Thursday, January 16.

He was arrested in his Adelaide home on Wednesday January 15, refused bail and extradited to Broken Hill accompanied by New South Wales Police.
Mr Waite is charged with stalking /intimidating, intentionally choking a person without consent – domestic violence, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contravening prohibition/restriction in apprehended violence order, destroying or damaging property, and breach of bail.
The matter was mentioned in Broken Hill Court on Friday, January 17, with Magistrate Jacqueline Trad stating that his bail was refused due to a history of failing to appear in court and violent behaviour.
Mr Waite is due to appear at Wollongong court on Tuesday, February 4.
